June 26th is the International Day Against Drug Abuse as per resolution 42/112 of 7 December 1987 of the United Nations General Assembly.
This year 2020, the theme is “Better Knowledge for Better Care". It is an initiative to emphasizes the need to improve the understanding of the world drug problem and how in turn, better knowledge will foster greater international cooperation for countering its impact on health, governance and security.

In support of this day, we have put together a list of books on drugs, youth, and children that is available at the library. Don’t do drugs. It will not only destroy you but your family and loved-ones as well.
