Every child is born unique. They deserve to be accepted and loved for who they are. These beautiful creations of God share the joy and happiness within themselves by spreading their unconditional love to the world. Their innocence teaches an adult to enjoy little things in life, sees the good in everything and always takes time to have fun. Give your love to a child and see what you will get back in return.

Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20th each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare. This year’s theme is "Children of Today, Our Keepers Tomorrow". This theme explains the role of today's society in building up future generations with high moral values because they will be our future leaders. Sabah, without exception, should support the effort to protect children’s right and be their voice to build a better world for them.

We have also listed a few books on the subject which you may check out from the library.

Quote of The Day

"You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive." – James Baldwin
